Come and be inspired by the Museum's collection of ancient Egyptian jewellery, and join Clay OK to learn how to make your own porcelain jewellery. In the first session you will learn how to make your own plaster stamps for relief-decoration, and you will produce a series of porcelain pendants and beads. These will be bisque fired afterwards and in the second session you will learn how to apply glazes and colours to your jewellery pieces. Your ceramic pendants and beads will be glaze-fired following the second session and ready for you to collect from the museum after 3 weeks. Numbers are limited so advanced booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
